Hi, I’m Diego. 

 

I’m a wine enthusiast and am passionate about food, travelling and meeting new people. No matter whether it’s a Michelin Star restaurant or delicious and colorful street food, I will always look for the very best wherever I am. I'm fully bilingual in English and Spanish and can also get by in Portuguese. I have lived in several countries and traveled to many, many more.

During my travels, whether for business or pleasure, I've always made it a point to experience the local culture, and I firmly believe that gastronomy is a very important part of that. I've always been eager to enjoy, not only the fabulous, top-of-the-line restaurants run by renowned chefs, but also the local jewels that every place has hidden away, unknown to the average tourist.

 

My mother’s side of the family comes from La Rioja - home to some of the best wines in Spain. Some of my best friends are chefs and winemakers. So it will come as no surprise that I always plan my trips around fantastic food and wine (I even have my own little private home wine cellar)! I also love to cook so I can appreciate a nice meal when I have one and will go out of my way to find it!

For the past 8 years, I have been bringing people from different walks of life together through our shared common interest: delicious food and great wines! Whether it be at a private, specially designed, gourmet wine-paired dinner accompanied by the chef or winemaker, a day tour for a personalized visit to a top winery (which on certain tours open especially for us) followed by a delicious meal or a multi-day trip to pretty much anywhere including all of the above and more, you bet, I’ve organized it.

 

Given the success these personalized experiences have had and in order to be able to help each and every one of you, I’ve put together a team of professionals working directly with me who share not only my passion for food and wine but also my love of helping others dip their toes into the world of gastronomical tourism. At the same time, I’ve been able to secure a network of top-of-the-line, fully reliable service providers who understand my very high expectations. With their help, I will tailor each and every tour to your specific interests, the sky being the limit!
